Alocasia zebrina is an aroid that grows to around 70-80cm in height in Melbourne. Younger plants prefer warmth and humidity over winter to avoid dormancy. If the plant does go dormant, leaves will die off and the plant will appear to have died. Do not discard as corms will resprout in Spring. 

Makes a great understory plant in full shade, with leaves growing up to around 30-40cm in size.
