Syngoniums are a fast growing tropical aroid and can be grown terrestrially or up a totem pole or tree. Mature foliage will emerge faster when climbing. Easy to care for, Syngoniums aren't too fussy about watering- overwatering doesn't cause as much damage as seen in other aroids such as philodendrons.

Regular fertilising in the warmer months will produce lots of new growth, and growth can be easily propagated in water or sphagnum moss via the node. 

Mature growth is trilobed and looks very different to the arrow-shaped juvenile growth.
